Here are the finished shots of my mural for the Bibra Lake Community Centre.

A big part of this mural for me, as always, was the local characters who I met. John and Anna being two stand outs who I enjoyed chatting to and getting to know.

Anna was able to convince me that I should include a dog seeming as there are so many dog walkers around Bibra Lake.

I was rather resistant to this idea at first, but it really grew on me, especially after meeting John Zylstra’s dog, Denva, who is a bit of a local celebrity (both dog and owner).

I came to really look forward to the visitor drop-ins and the chats about turtles, dogs, the environment, life and everything else.
